1S25'11

So after hogging Raymond's acct last night on Aspire just to see the school shift around the SPs. The classes have finally been finalized. I think my combination (E2, M2, C2, N1) is sort of cursed. Last year was a school year with 3 guys and 20 girls. This year is gonna be 1 guy and 20 girls. The "guy" have officially become a singular. Is like he totally has no male species to come into contact with. He better be joining like an all boys cca if not it is like there's no bro code for him.

I finally have to join orientation after skipping the first 2 days of it since the school decided to be real cool about the SPs skipping the academic talks segment this year. So more amazing race and of course the SR picnic. Better not rain for the whole week seeing that it is gonna be CNY week too. But looking at the weather forecast, chances of any sun seem bleak. It just has been rain rain and more rain.

Starting a new year with my new class tomorrow makes me miss 1S28'10 all the more. Nico and Vanessa leaving for SP, debs transfered to art stream, shumei decided to change combi, the rest promoting to J2 and being split into 2 different classes. It was like just one year ago we came together as a new class, seems like I have to do the same with the girls and guy tomorrow. Hopefully no ah lians in class or no major bitch fights hor! Aim of the year is to be the top student!!!

Daisy Tan

If you follow me on twitter, you might have recently known that I tweeted that the SR netball team recently participated in the 2011 Daisy Tan Carnival. Being in this field for so long, Daisy Tan has been a well known carnival that many come to play at at the various category. We took part in the tertiary category that day and emerge as champions!! My first gold after playing netball for so long! So sick of being fourth kay! But the feeling that day was just tense tiring and awesome. The games we played against the various schools really tested the strengths of our minds and gave us an idea of how we fared at the competition level. Well, although we saw SAJC playing opens instead, it definitely got us all on a good start working towards A'Div. The hardwork we all have been putting in the last year was totally worth it. Now our final goal: A'Div top 4.

Shan

I met shan for our annual meet up on one of the last few days of 2010.
It eventually led to dinner with her family and a sleepover.
This girl is like my lifelong friend whom I know I will know for the rest of my life.
We had such great time shopping and catching up with one another on our lives.
I always look back and reflect the times we spent together when we were kids.
We were awkward and didn't really fit in with other girls as well.
We quarreled, laughed, joked, sleep, BATHED(when we were kids kay!), played and enjoyed each other's presence together.
As we grew up, my heart was always thankful that we have each other.
After so many years as friends, I look forward to our future as being friends forever:)

Rest of Shanghai

Okay, i obviously lost my drive to blog about Shanghai, so here is the rest of it.

And the awesome friends that I've made. The trip would have been nothing without them:)

I miss everything about it despite being at least over a month since I came back.
It's even 2011 already!! I know my christmas and new year's post are all late so maybe I can fit them all in here later.

Anyway, so thankful to have been to this great city.
Last night I even dreamt my teacher in charge, Mr Ong, announcing to us that we have not finished the trip and get to go back for another 3 days. That got me really excited in my dream!!

Thanks for the memories in Shanghai everyone.
