The good the bad the weird

2009.

This year has been a roller coaster ride for me if I could describe it.
But I am glad I pulled through all the shit and crap I had to go through.
There were so many times I just felt like throwing the towel in but in the end I'm glad I didn't.
Sometimes as I think back to this whole year, somehow I am thankful for all of it, the good, the bad and the weird.
Because of it all it just shows His faithfulness and how through the seasons He has always been there.
Something so precious, so eternal that I am thankful for His agape love.

Through the year, I have my close friends to thank for just being there despite your own lives. People like Liz, Wendy, Janice, Joy.
This year I also got closer to some people like Charissa, Joanne Ng and Joanne Nathan as well. Which have been such a joy to me.
The change of cell half way down the year really was a major turning point for me, being away from Liz after so long. But I am thankful for it as it was time that I stand on my own ground.

Of course my girlies, ZY, Deb, Janelle, Jomanda and the team. It's my last year in this school and really glad that this 4 years we have memories together:) I love you guys always....

And of course my bestiesssss, E has been really busy during the last few months but we met alot through out the year. Am so glad to have you by my side whenever needed and me by your side when you needed it. May it be during the shit or losing your precious hp at T1. I love you loads:))))) My other bestie, TWS. I've known you all my life and am glad after our busy sec sch life, we got to meet much often this year. You have always been a great companion my whole life and I enjoyed talking about our childish ways:) This is to many more years of friendship. I love you:)))

So this is my last post of the year and things could not end better but with my family.
Although my dad is in HK now and mummy is on her way there. I thank everything that has happen the last year. And I love you guys loads.

Christmas is here. It's the time of the year for BBQs here in Singapore, turkey, ham and cranberry sauce.
Children rushing down to the tree on Christmas morning to open presents, hoping your wish-list is fulfilled.
Sometimes I wish it would snow here, as my dream is to have a white Christmas someday.
But most importantly, let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas, which is Jesus.

Hello, I'm back:)

Long time no see

Hello!!!

It feels so long. This is my only free time since I ended O's, yes I'm that busy, so I figured I should post something.
The last few days are mainly about umpiring, sleepovers, Girl's DP, cell outing, dinners, buying a luggage and replenishing on my lost sleep.
So O's has been a long and tough journey but I think I will elaborate more on that when I officially leave school, which is this Friday btw.
I am so happy and exited for the coming days as I will be packed to the brim.

School's Out

My last day of school was yesterday. It's a amazing that I am leaving this school soon, leaving 4/7 behind and starting on something new. Most of my classmates and teachers were a little sentimental about this with tears and all while I on the other hand seem a little heartless. Most of it is because, it hasn't kick in yet. I think it will only hit me on grad night or when I am leaving the next day. Funny how I'm like that. Anyway, I love 4/7, you guys rock!!!!

Auntie Suripah

7 years is a really long time that I never knew past so fast.
She was more than just a helper but someone I considered to be close with even compared to some of my friends.
I chose not to go to the airport as I know I will probably burst into tears.
But I just want to say thank you for being in my life.

Away from the really conventional ice cream truck, I came across something which I thought was ingenious:)

This cupcake truck even has a twitter feed to allow it's customers to know it's current location as it is always on the go. Looking at this really inspires me to bake right now!!!
The whole idea of it is really fresh and would work perfectly in fast paced cities, which explains it's location to be in the Big Apple.
Sadly, I foresee it not doing so well if it came here, nevertheless, will certainly look out for it if I ever go to New York again:)

I'm left with my combined science MCQ paper tmr and I will be done for prep.
I don't really want to think about this time's exam esp. Emaths. Good thing I redeemed myself in paper 2.
Well, if you have noticed by now, I've joined twitter for the fun of it. Found out that I could tweet through SMS.
Also another widget would be the countdown to remind myself to not be on the computer so often.
Off to revise, or maybe sleep early!!!

Run

I just came back from a great run.
The air was moist and the drizzle was cool.
The scary part is still the express way where it's so dark I'm scared I will get kidnapped.
Last night's night out for Jo was great since we hardly get to do it the past few weeks.
It was a nice change to have someone else take the pictures since I'm always doing it with my lousy camera.
Hence, no pictures since all of them look gross due to my lousy camera.

I'm thinking of getting a new one, but it will have to come out of my own pocket.
I really love the Leica M8 and the new Olympus Pen digital.

Cell today was good and different. I'm still trying to adjust and all. After all, I have been with liz ever since the beginning.
However, I know that change is the only thing constant and that God has so much more instore for me.
Therefore I am glad for this change and believe that we will multiply again,
As I was running just now, I thought about everything with God. Then somehow, I heard it.
I really did:)

Take a bow

A few days ago I was feeling very stress with my studies and decided to side track a little for one night, and ended up digging into my fabric collection and sewed a bow. Didn't exactly finish it till just now.
Low and behold, janice was making one as well, difference is out of ribbons.
I really like the blue one you did.





I wish I could have cherry red nails now:(

Chinese Oral

Last words

So, the last post you see me talking bout my last week of holiday's weekend.
Being out the whole sat with the cell was great before the change.
Baptism, captain's ball, bbq.
I even got my first massage after the games and my goodness, my back nearly killed me.
After which I went back for fun laughter and of course JOY.

The next morning was the tough part.
Even as I write this now, I'm still having mixed thoughts and feelings.
One thing for sure I miss him alot.
It was the day that I have been picturing in my mind for months now.
He shook hands with everyone but added a special one for mine.
In my heart I knew what it meant and was reminded of the past when I used to sent him off.
The image of his back walking in and waving at us still is vivid.
No matter how much hurt I had from him, he will always hold a special place in my heart.

June Week 4

The weekend have been a turmoil for me and it's not stopping with the upcoming week.
I'm too deprived of sleep to post pictures.
The weekdays were pretty good since I didn't even step out of the house but study except the occasional run.

Bye my precious holidays.
I have to start running towards my goal from tomorrow onwards.
Excited and Anxious.

June Week 3

Non-stop lessons the whole week with the worse to be 8-4 maths.
Thankfully friday's eng lesson was cancelled which allowed me to sleep in a little.
So the whole issue of H1N1 has got relatively serious in Singapore.
With many talks of school holidays extending, part of me wishes for this yet another does not.
Yet, I have no idea why Singaporeans are so worried over this, I don't see anyone getting all worked up over the common flu which is even more deadly.

My blog is turning to be more wordy and boring and short.
Last week was fruitful with much work done plus a manicure and muji:)
So let this week be even better with even much more work done since it's the last before I start running to the end.

June Week 2

This week did do me some good.
I managed to get some rest and only had one day of school
I also finished more than half of my holiday homework, a first in my life.
A little sad that I could not make it for church camp but encounter retreat was great.
He did spoke and make me feel release.

June Week 1

My face is literally sun-kissed now after a long day yesterday.
But I am glad I did well for my umpire's practical:)

On friday, me and Edna decided to meet up to talk and shop and in the midst of shopping, her precious handphone got stolen.
We made a report and all and hopefully things will go well.

On monday, after my atrocious chinese O's, I had a pleasant surprise finding Rujun, Merlissa under my block.
Kevin soon joined and seeing them made me miss Clarissa:)

On wednesday, my parents left for Milan. I am suppose to be there right now.

I have no more school!!!!
But tons of holiday homework.
But have to go back tmr, tues, and whole of 3rd week.

In bed

I've never seen myself use this much tissue.
Today was worse than yesterday due to the probing headache.
It is now 9:15, I have been home alone the whole day.

Snail Mail

Saw this two letters laying on my table when I got back just now, and they are from my lovable TWS:)
Her letters are so cute, one for my birthday, and another for her birthday present which I personally delivered to her house.
These just brighten my day even more.
It's true how 13 years ago we would never have thought each other would still be the bestest of friends.
We need to go beyond our April, May and December issue:)
We still call each other's nicknames and I hope we never quarrel over peas again:)
